Connecting to a certain quality that you like to attract can change your perception completely. An example can be to stay relaxed whenever responding in a difficult conversation.
Whenever I want to focus on that certain quality that I feel I need to bring out that day, I simply repeat that quality in my mind a few times, as a mantra. Sometimes I sit down for 5 minutes and allow all associations that come up with that quality to arise. If I don't even have 5 minutes to sit down, I repeat my mantra during taking a shower or getting dressed.
Strengthening those connections in your mind will lead to a stronger connection to whatever you choose to cultivate!
